The Strong App: My Favorite App for Tracking my Weightlifting Progress

Have you ever searched for a straightforward fitness app to track your progress, keep you motivated, and hold you accountable? Like many fitness enthusiasts, you have probably faced this issue. Although most fitness apps appear promising and easy to set up, they often disappoint in various ways. They may be too complicated to navigate or lack important features.

In this post, we will review the Strong App, an application that stands out among other fitness apps. We will explore what it has to offer and why it's my personal favorite in the gym.

Organization

Many individuals today become overly fixated on their programming, exercise selection, and timing their rest between sets, among other details. Consequently, they overlook the importance of putting in the actual work, leaving them feeling overwhelmed without much to show for their efforts.

The Strong App is a popular choice for many people due to its simplicity and effectiveness. Its interface is streamlined, uncomplicated, and delivers what is necessary without any frills. The workout areas are composed solely of the essentials, such as exercises, target weights, and repetition ranges. All that is required is to look at it, complete the workout, check it off, and work through the list.

Moreover, previous workout sessions are easily accessible, allowing users to review, monitor, and share their progress. It can be quite gratifying to look at one's profile and see that they have accomplished dozens, or even hundreds, of workouts. It almost feels like advancing in a video game.

Workout templates

The strong app is my go to for this very reason. Strong allows you to create your own workout templates, which makes working out simple, organized, and precise. All you need to do is click “create a new workout,” name it, and build your workout the way you deem fit. If you do not see your desired exercise, no problem! The strong app also allows you to create custom exercises to add to your program.

Once you are ready to begin, you can start your training and check off the exercises as you complete them. The number of sets for each exercise, as well as the target weights, can be set while working out. If you opt to do so, the updated data will be saved to the template upon the completion of your workout. By selecting the green button labeled "Finish," the application will confirm that the workout is complete and store it for you to review at your convenience.

Additionally, you have the flexibility to modify your workouts on the spot by adding or removing sets and exercises and rearranging their order with ease. For example, if you had initially planned to bench press first and then do an incline bench press, but later decide to switch their positions, the Strong App enables you to make these adjustments effortlessly.

My conclusion

For those who frequent the gym and have access to reliable equipment, the Strong App has become a favored option. One reason for this is its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to navigate for individuals of all skill levels. The app is structured in a way that enables users to track their progress with little effort, helping them to stay motivated and accountable.

Overall, the Strong App has become a popular choice for gym-goers who are looking for an application that can adapt to their changing workout needs, provide personalized workouts, and be easy to use. It is an excellent option for those who want to make the most of their time at the gym and get the best possible results from their workouts.

The Strong App has become my personal favorite because its easy to use, straight to the point and most importantly, provides valuable data which helps you tracks your progress.
